Blog Tour: Ready for Wild by Liora Blake

Title: Ready for Wild
Author: Liora Blake
Series: Grand Valley #3
Genre: Adult, Contemporary Romance
Release Date: October 31, 2017

Featuring Liora Blake’s signature “funny, endearing, and more than a little hot” (Library Journal) style, the third novel in the Grand Valley series features a rough-talking game warden going toe-to-toe with a TV star who unexpectedly turns his life upside down.

Braden Montgomery is certain about three things: one, luck is for suckers; two, time spent outdoors is what keeps him sane; and, three, when it comes to sharing his bed, there’s only one female he’s willing to put up with—his Chesapeake Bay retriever, Charley. Braden’s constructed his life on these beliefs, and he’s quite content with the status quo.

But when a moment of bad luck lands Braden toe-to-toe with a blonde bombshell with her own television show, his stubbornly structured reality begins to unravel.

As for Amber Regan, her brand has been built on camo, cut-offs, and cleavage. With her own hunting show on the foremost sports channel and enough social media followers to garner her plenty of endorsement deals, Amber’s come a long way from the tomboy in a small Texas town she once  was. Unfortunately, ratings are down and her contract for next season is in limbo, so she’s in desperate need of a reboot to save her show—and filming a rough and tough archery elk hunt in Colorado might be the way to do just that. Too bad the local game warden grunts more than he speaks, seems determined to despise her—and makes her heart race in all the most inconvenient ways.

What is the biggest influence/interest that brought you to this genre?
Like a lot of romance authors, I’m an avid reader of the genre. Although I didn’t start reading romance until about five years ago, I’ve been writing for a great deal longer—yet once I started writing romance, I truly found my voice as an author.

When writing a book, what is your favorite part of the creative process(outline, plot, character names, editing, etc)?
Editing is my favorite. I dread getting my initial draft down on paper, but once I have then I love digging into the first few rounds of revisions.

When reading a book, what genre do you find most interesting/intriguing?
I’ve recently started reading more sci-fi/fantasy/paranormal books, and I’m always fascinated at how successful authors in those genres are so good at seamless world-building.

If you could co-author with any author, past or present, who would you choose?
Jane Austen

Have you always wanted to write or did it come to you "later in life"?
Writing has always been part of my life and my ultimate goal was always to actually get paid to write. While I had originally hoped to work as a journalist, life threw me a few detours and I came to writing novels instead.

Author Bio:
Liora Blake is a contemporary romance author living in Colorado.

When she isn’t writing, she’s likely baking cookies she shouldn’t eat, inventing elaborate excuses to avoid going for a run, or asking the nice barista to sell her another quad-shot Americano.

Life was nothing but a dream.
Until the Bratva destroyed it, shattering the world as I knew it.
Sacrificing my freedom for a chance to get my revenge on them seemed like a small price to pay.
Until he showed up claiming me as his and shifting the rules of the game.
Falling in love with him was easy, but choosing between loyalty and love was not.
I dreaded the day he’d find out the truth.
Because no one would be able to save me from the brigadier’s wrath.

The Bratva became my only salvation, saving me from the nightmares of the past.
They accepted me with open arms and introduced me to the brotherhood that stood by me through everything.
I gave my heart and soul to that gritty and dark world, never wanting more.
Until I met her, and then everything changed.
Victoria Kuznecova became mine.
But she was hiding something from me, placing us both on a dangerous path.
Because no one betrays the Bratva and lives.

Author Bio:
V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn't happen.

Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it.

When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
